SRT to TXT Utility

The SRT to TXT Conversion Utility converts timed SubRip Text (SRT) files to simple TXT files. We hear it's pretty useful for transcripts and stuff.

HISD SRT to TXT Conversion Utility

This simple (but useful) little utility will take timed SubRip Text (SRT) files and convert them to plain TXT files by removing the timing blocks and line numbers, and stripping any HTML markup. Pretty handy for creating transcripts and video metadata. The conversion process will also attempt to find conversation markers (>>) and create labled paragraph sequences if available.

Click the "Choose FIles" button, select one of more SRT files from your local computer.
Click the "Upload File(s)" button to start the upload and conversion process.
Once the conversions are completed you will be presented with a list from which you may then view (via the broswer) or download (right-click, save as) files individually.
